Meet Our Team
David Pardy
David is a third generation removal contractor from the Pardy family. His grandfather, Nelson, started moving families around 1924. David’s father, Ron, took the moving business on and concentrated the family on removals. David has worked in other industry but has always been associated with the family removals businesses.
David is a past president of the local “NAFWR” (National Association of Furniture and Warehousemen and Removers) and has his HGV class 1, transport manager CPC qualifications and whilst well into retirement age, still very much involved with the family business, in charge of sales.
Thomas Pardy
Thomas first taste of removals was as a school-boy, helping out on the vans after school. Whilst he has looked at other options, the family trade was where his heart led him. Thomas is now preparing to gain his HGV licence and transport manager qualifications and is very experienced in all aspects of removals and removal management. He is also now driving the fork-lift in the warehouse to further his already extensive experience. Thomas is responsible for operations and general management of the company, but keeps his hand in on the removals as much as needed.
Piers Souper
Piers first was employed in removals by David over 30 years ago and has enjoyed a varied career in removals, working for some of the most respected companies locally. He has his HGV class 1, transport manager CPC qualifications and extensive fork-lift experience. Having married into the Pardy family, Piers has 3 sons who have all worked for the family business, ensuring that the Pardy family will continue in removals for a long time yet. Piers returned to the family business a number of years ago and is responsible for the office, warehouse and sales as well as helping out on the vans when needed.
The Rest Of The Team
The rest of the Pardy team are made up of long serving and newer staff, all of whom have gained extensive training in all aspects of the removal trade. Some have been working for the Pardy family for almost 30 years, others bring in experience from outside the family business, giving us a great blend of experience and knowledge. We are always looking to recruit new talented removal staff, but our team is solid and reliable, with excellent customer service skills as well.
